Snack time doubles as arts and crafts time! Have you kids decorate their own veggie and fruit-filled plates…before they quickly wipe them clean.

Overview

Makes: 2 adult or 4 toddler portions
Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 2 carrots
  • 2 celery shoots
  • 1 handful of raisins
  • 1 banana
  • 1 small container of natural yogurt
  • Breadsticks, crackers or pita slices for dipping

Method:

Start by chopping some peeled or scrubbed carrots and celery into small sticks, along with a few slices of banana.

Next, decorate a plate with a few juicy raisins and fill a small bowl or pot for each child with creamy natural yogurt.

Dip breadsticks, crackers or pita slices until it is all gone.

Neat cheats

You could buy ready-prepared vegetables but we don’t recommend it as it will be much more expensive!

Make it together!

Children will love making a face shape
on the plate with their dipping foods and raisins. An example toddler portion for this would be 2 – 3 tbsp of dip and 1 – 3 large breadsticks or 1 – 3 crackers.

Messy fun! Sheena x
